Reserve: The bidding for all vans will start at $0. Until the bidding reaches the reserve price, the message "This product has a reserve" will be shown above the area where bids are placed. Once the reserve price has been met the message shown will be "The product has exceeded the reserve price". Once the reserve price has been met or exceeded the highest bidder at the end of the auction will have successfully purchased that van.
Reserve not met: At the end of an auction, if the reserve is not met, the caravan will be passed in and will not be sold. We will then contact the highest bidder to give them the opportunity to purchase the van at a negotiated price. There will be no obligation on the bidder to purchase the van. In the event that the highest bidder does not proceed with purchasing the van we may contact the under bidders in order of highest bid to lowest to see if they are interested in negotiating to purchase the van.
Minimum bid: is $100.
Automatic Bidding: You can place a maximum bid and the system will automatically bid on your behalf in increments of $100 until your maximum bid has been reached.
Last minute bids (IMPORTANT): Bids placed within 5 min of an auction ending will extend the auction by 5 min! Please ensure your computer's clock is set to the current time automatically. Incorrectly set clocks will give the wrong auction start and finish times and you may be unable to place a last minute bid.
Notifications: Emails will be sent letting you know if you've been outbid.
Winning an auction: Winners will receive a congratulations email confirming they have won the auction, with a follow up email containing payment and pick up instructions.
Caravan pick up: All caravans must be paid for and picked up within 5 days of the auction ending.
