Dexter Sway Control System

THE BENEFITS

Sundowner Caravans are authorised installers of the the Dexter Sway Control System. If your caravan has electronic brakes we can retrofit the system for you.

Because of its recognised improvements to the safety of towing a caravan our preferred insurer CIL Caravan Insurance is offering a 10% discount on policies where a Dexter Stability Control System has been fitted.

HOW IT WORKS

In the event that your caravan starts to sway the stability control system will apply the brakes to whichever side of the caravan is necessary to straighten it up. There is no action required by the driver, the system recognises that there is a problem and takes corrective action.

Jockey wheel, tools, firewood, ropes, recovery gear or camping accessories, you always need somewhere for stuff that does not belong inside your caravan! Thats where toolboxes come in. We offer four types of sturdy checker plate aluminium toolboxes, designed to fit most caravans and accomodate just about anything you’ll need on your caravanning adventures, so be prepared, be organised, get a toolbox or two!

SMALL TOOLBOX

The small toolbox is perfect for your jockey wheel, jerry cans, tools, hoses and all those bits and bobs you don’t want inside your caravan.

This large toolbox has a storage compartment on one side including a full width top shelf for easy access to your every day items. Under the shelf on the opposite side is a slide out tray that can used for mounting a fridge, generator or BBQ.
