We have now travelled from Parkdale, Melbourne to (tonight) Leichhardt Falls) between Bourketown and Normanton Qld roughly 7000 ks with only a few very minor issues. We know our caravan is one of the best off-road caravans that will take you anywhere and believe me we have now tested it. Remember to always drive to the conditions and let your tyres down on the dirt and there really should be no problems.

The worst road ever is from Boorroola Nt to Hellsgate Roadhouse Qld just pick an alternate route to this part of Savannah Way as extreme unrelenting corrigations, but we did enjoy the creek and river crossings. We’ve seen and met a handful of other Hilltop owners – all great people of course!! Lots of free camps and honestly everything in the van works beautifully. No fears at all of being unpowered as we totally have confidence in our van delivering all we need.
